Dr. Gordin
Leonid Gordin, M.D., specializes in Holistic Medicine and non-pharmacological pain management. In collaboration with your primary care physician, Dr. Gordin provides care that is healing-oriented, and emphasizes the centrality of the physician-patient relationship. The goal is to work closely with you to develop comprehensive complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) treatment program, based on understanding of the physical, psychological, and spiritual aspects of the individual.
This approach encompasses not only disease management, which targets troublesome symptoms through natural, less-invasive interventions, but above all encourages active patient participation throughout the health restoration process. This includes identifying and removing barriers that are blocking the body's innate healing response, as well as engaging mind, body, spirit, and community to facilitate healing.
Dr. Gordin applies this medical and lifestyle approach to his own life as well as his family's. He has three children, three granddaughters, and a loving and supportive wife of 38 years, who also works at Path to Whole Health as a nurse. Dr. Gordin meditates daily, practices qi gong, is an avid learner, and loves to travel with his family and experience different cultures.
